Jim Wolf is an American singer-songwriter whose music blends heartfelt storytelling, acoustic warmth, and modern Americana. A Connecticut-based artist, Wolf launched his career in New York City’s vibrant music scene, where he spent years developing his craft as a songwriter and performer before building an international audience.

His 2012 single, “Make You My Lady,” became an unexpected and enduring success story overseas. More than a decade after its release, the song continues to connect with listeners in South Korea, leading to a publishing partnership with K-Pop publisher MusicCube under the Peermusic Group. Throughout his career, Wolf has remained independent, maintaining creative control while his audience expanded around the world.

Blending memorable melodies with emotional honesty, Wolf’s songwriting explores love, heartbreak, resilience, and self-discovery. His catalog has connected with listeners across cultures and has been featured in more than 100 television programs and films worldwide, including placements with CBS, Sony Pictures, Warner, TBS, KBS, and MBN. Wolf’s work has also received international recognition, including a Spotlight Artist feature from Rolling Stone UK and inclusion in Billboard Brasil’s Artists to Watch 2026.

Wolf’s journey as a performer was shaped by years in New York City’s underground music community, where he shared stages with artists including Chris Thile of Nickel Creek, Eric Hutchinson, Ryan Cabrera, Jason LeVasseur, and The Alternate Routes. He also developed his craft in the city’s open mic circuit alongside artists who would go on to make their own mark, including singer-songwriter Charley Crockett and comedian Mark Normand.

In 2023, Wolf was selected to showcase at NACA LIVE in Louisville, Kentucky, further highlighting his reputation as a compelling live performer with a career that bridges independent artistry and international reach.

Today, Wolf begins a new chapter with Little Cash, Big Dreams, a collection of folk and Americana songs centered on connection, perseverance, and the hope found in life’s simplest moments. Built around intimate performances, honest storytelling, and timeless melodies, the album reflects an artist continuing to evolve while staying true to the emotional core that has defined his work.
