Jim Wolf is an American singer-songwriter from the New York City area whose 2012 single, “Make You My Lady,” became an unexpected and enduring success story overseas. More than a decade after its release, the song continues to chart in South Korea, an achievement few independent artists have matched.

Its sustained popularity led to a publishing partnership with K-Pop publisher MusicCube under the Peermusic Group, while Wolf continued to operate independently — retaining creative control as his audience expanded internationally.

Blending infectious pop melodies with indie sensibility, Wolf crafts songs rooted in emotional honesty. His writing explores love, heartbreak, and self-discovery with a vulnerability that has become his signature — forging deep connections with listeners across cultures.

For over ten consecutive years, Wolf’s music has remained a fixture on South Korea’s Top 100 charts, at times ranking alongside — and even outperforming — global superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Adele, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift.

Wolf’s catalog has also seen extensive media exposure, with placements in more than 100 television programs and films across major networks and studios including CBS, Sony Pictures, Warner, TBS, KBS, and MBN. Among the most notable was “Just To Be With You,” featured in The Young and the Restless during its groundbreaking same-sex relationship storyline, culminating in the on-screen marriage of the show’s first same-sex couple.

A seasoned live performer, Wolf has shared stages with artists such as Chris Thile (of Nickel Creek), Eric Hutchinson, Ryan Cabrera, Jason LeVasseur, and The Alternate Routes. He sharpened his craft in New York City’s underground open mic circuit alongside rising talents like Charley Crockett and comedian Mark Normand.

In 2023, Wolf was selected to showcase at NACA LIVE in Louisville, Kentucky — further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic performer whose career bridges independent artistry and international impact.
